Previous studies have found that the expression level of Megalobrama amblycephala intelectin (MaINTL) increased significantly post Aeromonas hydrophila infection, and recombinant MaINTL (rMaINTL) protein could activate macrophages and enhance the phagocytosis and killing activity of macrophages.
