background: Glioma is one of the most malignant tumors worldwide. This study was aimed to study the effect of miR-379-5p/MGST1 on cell proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT in glioma. methods: RT-qPCR detected the expression of miR-379-5p and MGST1 in RNA level in glioma cell lines. Bioinformatic analysis was made to explore the associations between miR-379-5p and MGST1 while survival analysis was made with regards to MGST1 expression in glioma patients.
