White adipose tissue (WAT) is important for regulating the whole systemic energy homeostasis. Excessive WAT accumulation further contributes to the development of obesity and obesity-related illnesses. More detailed mechanisms for WAT lipid metabolism reprogramming, however, are still elusive.
