3-Nitropropionic acid (3-NP) is a mycotoxin commonly found in plants and fungi that has been linked to mammalian intoxication. Previously, we found 3-NP treatment exhibited reproductive toxicity by inducing oxidative stress in mouse ovary; however, the toxic effects of 3-NP on mouse oocyte maturation have not been investigated.
