Target Background |
CD27, also known as S152 and T14, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. It is expressed on memory B cells, a fraction of plasma cells, naive and memory T cells and NK cells. CD27 binds to ligand CD70, and plays an important role in regulating B-cell activation and immunoglobulin synthesis. It is considered as a useful marker to distinguish certain T and B cell subsets from each other. |
