pLenti-MDLgpRRE (LP1)

pLenti-MDLgpRRE (LP1) encodes the gag and pol genes, essential for lentivirus structural formation and reverse transcription. It also contains the Rev-responsive element (RRE) to facilitate the nuclear export of full-length viral RNA transcripts. This plasmid plays a critical role in lentiviral vector production, ensuring efficient virion assembly and RNA processing. It is used in combination with pLenti-Rev (LP2) for Rev-dependent RNA export and pLenti-VSVG for envelope pseudotyping, enabling efficient lentiviral packaging.
