Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) is a widely used plasticizer. It has neurotoxicity and exposure to it causes impairment of neurodevelopment, behavior and cognition. However, the molecular mechanisms responsible for the DEHP-induced neurotoxicity are not yet clearly defined.
