objective: Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) play a critical role in repairing damaged vessels and triggering ischemic angiogenesis, but their number is reduced and function is impaired under diabetic conditions. Improving EPC function has been considered a promising strategy to ameliorate diabetic vascular complications.
