Extracellular vesicles (EVs) function as natural mediators of intercellular communication, secreted by cells to facilitate cell-cell signaling. Due to their low toxicity, immunogenicity, biodegradability, and potential to encapsulate therapeutic drugs, EVs hold significant therapeutic promise.
