Accurate and quantitative detection of pre-eclampsia markers is crucial in reducing pregnancy mortality rates. This study introduces a novel approach utilizing a fluorescent biosensor by the immunosorbent atom transfer radical polymerization (immuno-ATRP) assay to detect the pre-eclampsia protein marker CD81. The critical step used in this sensor is the novel signal amplification strategy of fluorescein polymerization mediated by ferritin-enhanced controlled radical polymerization, which combines with a traditional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to further reduce the detection limit of the CD81 protein concentration.
